3D MODELLING OF TRAM TUNNEL FROM TLS POINT CLOUDS FOR TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION AND EXTRACTION OF CHARACTERISTIC LINES

Abstract. The Strasbourg tramway has only one tunnel 1400 m long built in 1994. It grants the operation of two lines transportation network. also houses underground station "Gare centrale" and is operated by CTS (Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois). Due to new guidelines for georeferencing networks, had know precise planimetric altimetric position tunnel, considered as a sensitive network located urban areas. regulations set criteria precision which this specific case requires an accuracy less than 40 cm. This project on behalf partnership with therefore aims up method allowing 3D survey considering constraints transport networks then propose different 2D or deliverables management tunnel. Initially, focused extracting shape characteristic lines, corresponds line tangent points higher altitude extreme each cross-section, along axis In second step, plan containing all technical elements present was realized, well modelling significative part infrastructure.
